The Department of Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario is seeking a Pediatric Respirologist for a full time position starting July 1, 2018. The successful candidate will join the existing team of 4 full-time and 1 part-time Pediatric Respirologists, forming the Division of Respiratory Medicine at CHEO. In addition to covering general respiratory medicine service, the successful candidate’s primary responsibility will be to act as physician lead to the Pediatric Sleep (laboratory and clinic) and Home Ventilation programs.
CLINICAL ACADEMIC POSITION – PAEDIATRIC RESPIROLOGIST

The Department of Paediatrics, Children's Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre and Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, is seeking a Paediatric Respirologist to join our established Division of Paediatric Respirology. The Division of Paediatric Respirology provides a comprehensive ambulatory and in-patient service to a population of about 1.5 million in southwestern Ontario. Children with the full spectrum of airway and lung disorders, including cystic fibrosis, asthma, sleep-disordered breathing, chronic lung disease, congenital abnormalities and complex care needs including ventilation are cared for in a range of specialty clinics. The Division of Paediatric Respirology works closely with our paediatric ENT colleagues in a collaborative Paediatric Airway Centre and in an active paediatric flexible bronchoscopy program. The Division is also very active in undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing medical education.
Respirologist (Full Time) Peterborough Regional Health Centre
Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC) and community is seeking a Respirologist to join our respirology service. PRHC serves as a regional respirology referral centre for our partner hospitals throughout the region. Respirologists provide inpatient consultation services to our busy emergency department and throughout the hospital and have outpatient services through their community based practices. Our respirology service includes bronchoscopies, PFT interpretation, and a rapid access clinic.
Respirologist , Regina, Saskatchewan

We are seeking a team-oriented and professional Respirologist to become part of our dynamic and expanding Medicine Department. The successful candidate will be required to provide four weeks of Internal Medicine services on the Clinical Teaching Units (CTU) at the Regina General Hospital for a period of one year. This is a contract role with the University of Saskatchewan and for this you will be remunerated at a rate of $6,500 per week.
The successful candidate will hold certification or be eligible for certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Respiratory Medicine. In accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.

The Department of Medicine, Dalhousie University/Central Zone, Nova Scotia Health Authority seeks applications for a position as an academic Respirologist in the Division of Respirology, at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Expertise in one of the following sub-specialty areas of Respirology will be considered an asset: interventional; interstitial lung disease; sleep/home mechanical ventilation; and asthma. The Division of Respirology is an integral part of the Department of Medicine and provides Respirology services for the Central Zone of the Nova Scotia Health Authority.
Candidates must hold FRCPC certification (or equivalent) in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in Respirology. Academic appointment ranking will be based on qualifications and experience.
Division of Respiratory Medicine, Department of Medicine - University of British Columbia & Vancouver General Hospital
The Division of Respiratory Medicine, Department of Medicine at the Vancouver General Hospital invites applications for a Physician Respirologist. It is expected that the incumbent will be appointed to a Clinical Faculty position with UBC Department of Medicine, Division of Respiratory Medicine. This position will be based out of Vancouver General Hospital (VGH) and University of British Columbia Hospital (UBCH). The successful candidate must be eligible to be licensed to practice as a respiratory physician in B.C. He/she must have a strong clinical and research experience in sleep medicine and would be expected to develop an independent research program.
The appointment will commence as early as July 1, 2016 and the closing date for applications is December 18, 2015 or when the position is filled.

Il est prévu que les candidats retenus seront nommés à des postes à temps plein de professeur de faculté clinique. Le département a donné son aval à un plan de mise sur pied d’un laboratoire de sommeil chez l’enfant; l’expertise dans le domaine du sommeil chez l’enfant constitue alors un bon atout.
